The experience starts when you first fill a glass and will be presented with a parade of color that will depend on the type of the wine your serving. This can help you to make a fair assessment initially of the juice in your glass in a number of ways.

Then, the next step is to give the glass a whirl and help to vaporize the key elements in wine that give it its own distinct complex array of aromatics. Now you can put your nose in the glass and take in the bouquet that can be a major part of the experience as you will be introduced to an almost infinite array of fragrances. This is of course a prelude to the best part to come as your sense of smell will give you a mental picture to numerous possible flavors combinations that might be next to come.

The final and best part is to of course taste as that is what its all boils down to. Take a nice healthy sip and now taste the melody of flavor as this is the main act(so to speak).
